TO ADDRESS COVID-19
Dear valued customer,
Many of us count on Ultramar for fuel, products, and services every day, and this doesn’t change in light of global events.
We want you to know that our teams are working hard to manage the impacts of COVID-19 and we are focused on providing you the essential services you rely on without interruption. As you know, this situation is fast moving and we are taking the required steps to keep our facilities open and creating a safe work environment for our customers and team members.
We are closely monitoring recommendations from public health organizations such as Health Canada, the World Health Organization and government agencies. We trust these organizations to make the right decisions at the right time and are paying attention to their advice.
To that end, we are taking the following measures and precautions to make sure our employees, customers, and communities are safe and taken care of:
- We are ensuring best practices for cleaning both inside and outside all Ultramar locations. This includes increased scheduled cleans, additional sanitizing of customer touch points, and continuing to require proper hand washing procedures for all staff.
- We have asked all employees to stay home should they experience COVID-19-like symptoms or feel under-the-weather in any capacity.
- We will do our best to help you find what you need by keeping stores stocked with high-demand products.
