The Ultramar Foundation supports communities in areas served by our service stations in Quebec, Ontario, and the Atlantic provinces. The funds raised help us take concrete measures to promote the well-being of thousands of children from our community.
Every year, we organize a colourful event called La Grande Ruée. It’s the perfect opportunity for thousands of people—from the young to the young at heart—to put on their lion tamer suits, clown noses, circus costumes, and running shoes, and come together to help charities devoted children’s well-being such as Big Brother Big Sisters, Parkland’s national charity partner. Around twenty more charitable organizations chosen by the company’s employees also benefit from the funds raised.
Since 2014, La Grande Ruée has raised over $1,275,000, which have been donated to different charities across Quebec, Ontario, and the Atlantic provinces.
