Position Summary:

Reporting to the Associate Marketing Manager, the Marketing Specialist will be responsible for leading all aspects of strategic and tactical marketing that support the business and financial objectives for Commercial Fuels. The incumbent will collaborate with the Commercial Fuels sales and operations teams to define and implement new marketing initiatives that contribute to volume growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the planning and implementation of marketing initiatives that align with Commercial Fuels business objectives and drives demand for products, services and solutions
  • Planning, development and distribution of internal communications that support execution of the marketing plans
  • Execute marketing campaigns via all forms of media, including but not limited to print, digital, online, email, social media, radio, video and trade shows
  • Work with the integrated Marketing team, external agencies and vendors in the development and execution for all marketing materials and events
  • Manage projects across functional teams (i.e sales, operations, legal, IT, billing, etc.) to facilitate implementation of marketing campaigns
  • Ensure consistent brand image through all marketing activities and collateral material
  • Manage multiple campaigns, including work back schedules, quotes, and budgets within defined approval process to ensure on time and on budget execution
  • Oversee campaign budget and report on overall results with emphasis on ROI
  • Social media content creation and executional calendar
  • Responsible for regular and ad hoc status reports on all marketing projects
  • Research and track emerging market developments, consumer trends, customer insights, competitive activities and other marketing opportunities to increase sales

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field
  • 5+ years of marketing experience in B2C and/or B2B
  • Bilingual
  • Experience in fuels or similar industry is a definite asset
  • Ability to easily build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
  • Independent nature and self-starter
  • Knowledge of digital marketing including email marketing, SEM, SEO, social media and content management
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with competing
